Gisele is a dedicated first-generation college student who joined the Arab American Mental Health Association to contribute to a cause close to her heart. Recognizing the unique mental health challenges faced by Arab American communities, she was inspired to be part of an organization working to break the stigma around mental health. Her passion stems from a desire to foster inclusivity, understanding, and culturally competent care within these communities.
By joining the AAMHA, Gisele aims to advocate for greater awareness of mental health issues, particularly within marginalized and underrepresented groups. She values the importance of creating safe spaces where individuals can seek support and resources without judgment. For Gisele, this involvement is not just a chance to make a meaningful impact but also an opportunity to grow and learn from others working in the field. Her commitment reflects her deep belief in the power of community and education to drive positive change.
