Minnat Allah Mohamed was born in the US to immigrant parents from Sudan. She moved to Sudan when she was young and came back to the US to pursue her undergraduate education. Her time living in Sudan sparked her interest in global health disparities particularly with a focus on mental health.

Currently she is pursuing her bachelors degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and Global Public Health at The Ohio State University. She works as a research assistant studying the effects on maternal separation and early life stress on social behaviors. She has also been involved with the Noor Community Clinic and the Asian Free Clinic where she worked as a translator serving the uninsured Arab population in Columbus.

Deeply committed to cultural competence and community well-being, Minna joined the Arab American Muslim Mental Health Association to help bridge the gap between mental health resources and the unique cultural and spiritual needs of Arab American and Muslim communities. Throughout her educational and professional journey, she has been a passionate advocate for reducing mental health stigma and developing culturally tailored wellness resources for youth.
