Ghadir Saad
MFT
My name is Ghadir Saad, and I'm a therapist at Delta Therapeutic Services, a private practice in Los Angeles County. I'm a Palestinian Muslim, a child of immigrants, and a first-generation therapist. These identities shape not just who I am, but how I work. I come from a culture that values family, community, and collective strength, and I carry those values into every session. In a society that often prioritizes individualism, I work from a lens that makes room for interdependence, lineage, and legacy.
Therapy with me won't look like a script. I won't ask you to disconnect from your culture, numb your instincts, or pathologize your pain. Instead, we'll explore how your history, your environment, and your identity are all part of the story- not things to overcome, but things to understand and reclaim.
My work centers people navigating cultural identity, generational trauma, anxiety, and the immigrant experience. These are not problems to fix, but realities to work with honestly. If you've ever felt like you're straddling two or more worlds, or carrying stories no one's put words to yet, you're not alone. We can go there.
My Palestinian heritage is central to my values and approach as a therapist. Growing up connected to a culture marked by resilience, resistance, and rich storytelling, I understand healing as a deeply political and collective act. The ongoing history of displacement, survival, and identity struggle in Palestine teaches that trauma is not only individual but woven into the fabric of family and community. Because of this, I value truth-telling, justice, and honoring the complexity of identity in every healing relationship. Healing is about creating space where difficult stories can be named and witnessed without judgement. I bring these vales into my work by centering the intergenerational and sociopolitical realities that shape my clients' experiences. I see therapy as a partnership rooted in mutual respect and accountability, where both therapist and client engage in the work of untangling internal and external forces that impact well-being. Ultimately, my goal is to hold space for restoring wholeness and reclaiming dignity- not by ignoring the past, but by weaving it into a future of empowered self and collective care.
